Mikhail Veselov is a concert cellist and founding member of the Grammy®-nominated Neave Trio, which has been described as a “brilliant trio”, recognized for their “Bright and radiant music-making” (WQXR) and has been cited as “…having exceeded the Gold Standard and moved on to Platinum” (Fanfare Magazine).

The Neave Trio tours nationally and abroad, performing in some of the finest venues, including Carnegie/Weill Recital Hall, David Geffen Hall at Lincoln Center and the Rockport and Newport Chamber Music Festivals. The Neave Trio is an Exclusive Recording Artist for Chandos Records and their recordings have been chosen among the best of the year by New York Times and BBC Radio 3.

Mikhail holds an Artist Diploma from San Diego State University, Masters of Music and Graduate Performance Degrees from the Longy School of Music of Bard College as well as a Bachelor’s of Music Diploma from the Moscow State Chopin Academy.

During the COVID-19 pandemic Mikhail used the pause in performing and touring to study and passed the SIE, Series 7 and 66 exams.  Mikhail enjoys cooking and running.
